Our cooking school offers you two standard cooking courses. Both courses can be adjusted for vegetarians. Some dishes are already vegetarian (like spring rolls and the desserts), others can easily be turned into vegetarian recipes. E.g. for the signature dish Fish Amok we replace the fish with tofu and mushrooms.

Two different Courses

In principle Course 1 is conducted on odd dates and Course 2 on even days.

But we can do either course regardless of the date, as long as all participants agree. So, we can change courses to your needs, just let us know at the time of booking.

There are cooking classes every day of the week, except Sundays.

Courses are $35 for a full day of fun. We also have half-day courses ($25), but to get a real insight in Khmer cooking, a full-day course is better. Both include transport to and from the market

Cooking class size is limited to 12 people, to ensure maximum participation and individual attention.

Phnom Penh Cooking Course

Where some other cooking schools send recipes to you by email, with us you’ll get a colourful 16-page recipe booklet, with pictures and descriptions of ALL dishes in our courses, so you can recreate beautiful Khmer dishes at home!

  • Banana Blossom Salad with chicken or tofu
  • Decoration turn carrot & cucumber into a flower
  • Fish Amok steamed coconut fish in banana leaves
  • Sticky Rice & Mango with palm sugar and sesame

Course 2

  • Sayong Jayk sausages in banana flower
  • Pomelo Salad with shrimps
  • Decoration turn carrot & cucumber into a flower
  • Red/Green Chicken Curry or Amok
  • Pumpkin Dessert with custard
